With BC Pro, if a subcontractor asks to be removed from your bid list or you no longer wish to work with a company, you can add them to your office's “Do Not Use List".
When a company is on your "Do Not Use List", the system will not allow the team members to invite or add them on projects for that specific office.
To add a company to your office's Do Not Use List
Click the building icon on the left-hand menu and click into an office if there are multiple.
Note: The "Do Not Use List" is specific to each office. If you do not have multiple offices, you'll find the "Do Not Use List" tab after clicking into your company.
Navigate to the "Do Not Use List" tab and click “+ Add companies”.
Search for the company you'd like to add and click “+ Add to list” button on the right-hand side of the company. You can continue to add more companies or click "x" at the top-right to exit.
The company will appear in your office's do-not-use list with when they were added and by whom.
Moving forward, for any project in that office, that company cannot be invited.
The “Do Not Use List" works on an office by office basis. Thus, if you wish to block a subcontractor from working with all offices within your company, you must add them to each office’s “Do Not Use List”.
Subcontractors will not receive a notification when they are added or removed from your “Do Not Use” list.
To remove a company from your office's Do Not Use List
Click the building icon on the left-hand menu and click into an office if there are multiple.

Navigate to the "Do Not Use List" tab and click “x” under the “Remove” column. Once a company is removed, they can be invited to future projects.
Can companies in your Do Not Use List access past projects?
Once a subcontractor is added to your “Do Not Use” list, they may still have access to projects they were previously invited to. Please note the following instances:
- If a subcontractor has been invited to bid on a project before they have been added to your “Do Not Use” list, the project will still appear on their Bid Board and they will be able to submit a bid.
- If a subcontractor has submitted a bid prior to being added to your “Do Not Use” list, their bid will remain submitted and they will still have access to project information, files, and messages.
Note: Subcontractors on your "Do Not Use List" can still view and join projects visible in your Public Planroom. Learn more about projects in your public plan room here.
