As a general contractor, you can create bid form templates that can be easily imported into new projects. These templates can be updated at any point to ensure that your bid forms request the desired information from subcontractors.
This article explains how to delete bid form templates from your account. The ability to delete bid form templates helps keep your bid forms organized so that you can quickly apply the appropriate bid form to your project.
To delete scope-specific Bid Form templates
Click on the “Projects” tab from the menu on the left.
Click on the “Bid Form Templates” tab. Find the template that contains the scope-specific bid form you wish to delete. Click on it.
Look for the appropriate bid package and click on the drop-down menu on the left. From the list of options, click on “Delete.”
Alternately you can click into the box next to the bid package you’d like to delete. From the options located along the top, click on “Delete.”
You will see a notification asking you to confirm if you want to delete. Please note that once deleted, a bid form template cannot be restored.
If you want to keep the bid package, click on “Cancel.” Otherwise click on “Delete.”
The bid package will be automatically removed from the Bid Form template.
Please note that deleting Bid Form templates does not remove the Bid Form from projects that have been published. Rather, the template is not available for future use.
To delete an entire Bid Form template
Click on the “Projects” tab from the menu on the left.
Next, navigate to the “Bid Form Templates” tab. Find the template you wish to delete and click on it.
Click on the drop-down menu located on the top right of the screen. Click on “Delete Template” from the options listed.
You will see a notification asking you to confirm if you want to delete the template. As a reminder, once a Bid Form template is deleted it cannot be restored.
If you want to keep the Bid Form template, click on “Cancel.” Otherwise click on “Delete Template.”
The Bid Form template will be automatically removed from the “Bid Form Templates” tab.
