As a vendor receiving TradeTapp invites, your company has a primary contact to centralize communication from general contractors. This means that all qualification invitations and notifications are sent to the primary contact’s email address.
Since all the notifications are sent to the primary contact, it is important for you to keep the contact up to date so that you don't miss notifications and qualification invitations are going to the right contact. A general contractor can only redirect an invitation if no primary contact has been set yet.
Please note that your company may have permissions in place that only allow certain members to change the primary contact. If this is the case, you will see a message with a list of coworkers you can reach out to, to ask for access.
To update your company's primary contact for TradeTapp invites
Click on "Qualifications" from the menu on the left-hand side.
From your Qualifications dashboard, click on the "Permissions & Settings" tab.
Under "Primary contact", click on "Change primary contact".
Search for the person in your company who you would like to be the primary contact moving forward. Click on the user you would like to update the contact to.
Please note that these are all registered users in your company's account. If you can't find the person you are looking for, they may need to create their own account first. Learn how to add coworker in How to add and remove coworkers from your company in BuildingConnected.
Click "Save". Your primary contact has been updated and this is the person that will receive all TradeTapp invites moving forward.
