Why is subscription management moving to Autodesk Construction Cloud?

We are transitioning managing BuildingConnected and TradeTapp subscription to Autodesk Cloud Licensing to simplify and improve how subscriptions are managed.

Starting with the renewal of your existing contract or new purchases, licenses for tools to BuildingConnected Pro, BidBoard Pro, and TradeTapp will be assigned to individual users through Autodesk’s cloud-based system.

This change will allow for easier license management through ACC Account Admin or Autodesk User Management. This shift helps standardize the subscription process across all Autodesk products, offering benefits such as centralized license management, greater flexibility in assigning licenses, and smoother future updates.

This move ensures a more streamlined, efficient experience as we continue to enhance our tools and services. Products such as Building Connected and TradeTapp will still live in the same place at app.buildingconnected.com and app.tradetapp.com respectively. However, controlling the licenses for these products will be housed within the ACC platform.
