With BC Pro, removing subcontractors can help you organize your sub lists when companies may belong in a different tender package or a person is not the correct point of contact within the company or you want to revoke your invitation.
The ability to remove is different depending on whether your project is published or not:
To remove subcontractors before a project is published
Navigate to the project and tender package where the subcontractor is located and click on the "Subs" tab.
To remove individual contacts within a company, in the "Invitees" section, click the "x" icon next to the contact you want to remove.
To remove an entire company and all the invitees at once, click the "x" icon to the left of the company in the list.
To remove bidders after a project is published
When a project is published, you can remove the individual contacts within a company, but you cannot remove the entire company from appearing on your sub list. Continue reading to learn how to remove individual contacts. If you want to remove an entire company, please submit a request to our Support Team with the following and we would be happy to remove the company for you:
- name of the company you want removed
- name of the project and tender package the company is in
To remove individual contacts within a company
- Click on the project then navigate to the tender package where the subcontractor is located.
- Navigate to the "Subs" tab, in the "Invitees" section, click the "x" icon next to the contact you want to remove.
- Click "Remove Sub".
Note: Removing an individual from a project removes the invitation from their Tenders and prevents them from receiving future project notifications. It does not prevent them from possibly gaining back access to a project using an email invitation that their coworker received.
