Subcontractors who were invited to your project can forward their invitations to partners or suppliers who are helping them with their bids. The person who received the forwarded invite becomes a vendor on that project. Vendors have limited access to the project’s details.
Vendors are not listed as individual entries under the “Bidders” tab in a bid package. Additionally, the “Find” feature does not identify vendors in a project, only companies who were directly invited to bid.
To find a vendor in a project:
1. If possible, first ask the subcontractor for who is listed as "Assigned" or in "Other Followers" on their end. This will help you find them in your bidder list.
The subcontractor can click to see who you originally invited and what company the person belongs to. See the following screenshot for an example where the subcontractor can find this information on their end:
2. If you cannot get this information, you can go to the appropriate bid package that they would be invited to. Scroll through each company listed in the “Bidders” tab until you see them under “Vendors invited by” on the right.
3. Once you find the vendor, make sure you click their name and copy and paste the email in their profile if you don't already have it. Click on the "x" icon next to their name.
4. Click "Remove Bidder".
5. Re-invite the contact. You can click "Invite Bidders" and use the "Email" tab to invite them directly to your project. The new invitation they receive should provide them with full access to the bid.
