Why is there an “Unknown company” in my project's Subs tab?

BuildingConnected allows you to invite subcontractors to a project even if they do not have a BuildingConnected account. When someone without a BuildingConnected account is invited to tender, they are listed in the “Subs” tab under an “Unknown Company.”



You can temporarily add the company's name so that it is populated for you. With the subcontractor selected, click on the “Edit” option next to “Unknown Company”.

Enter the company's name and click away or press “Enter” on your keyboard to save the changes.

The company's name will remain as you entered it until the contact in that company claims their account. When they create their account, the company name they provide will be override your edit.
