As a head contractor with BC Pro, you may see "Additional Items" appear on the proposals in your Tender Comparison tab.
There are two ways that these "Additional Items" get added under each tender.
- When a subcontractor submitted their proposal on BuildingConnected, they added an additional line item that was not originally on your tender form.
- This line item was once a part of your tender form and you have since deleted it. If any subcontractors submitted bids with that item you deleted, it becomes an "Additional Item".
"Additional Items" are maintained for history and for your tracking of any additional costs that the subcontractor has provided. Therefore, they cannot be removed. However, we understand that when comparing your tenders, you may not want to include certain amounts added by subcontractors or include these historic costs in your final costs. You do have the ability to toggle them on and off accordingly.
To toggle on or off an "Additional Item"
Click on the toggle button next to that line item.
When you toggle it off, you will see that the toggle will go the left and gray out. The "Adjusted Tender" value for this proposal will adjust accordingly to not include this item. You can click the same spot again to toggle it back as desired.
