BuildingConnected helps keep your project files organized by allowing you to upload them directly into a project. This makes it easy for subcontractors to see project details and access the necessary files to submit their tender in one centralized location.
You can upload files at the tender package level so that they can only be accessed by the subcontractors invited to that tender package. Learn more in Project and Tender Package Files FAQ’s. If you want to upload files that are accessible to all subcontractors, see How to upload and manage project files (BC Pro).
To upload files into a tender package
Navigate into the tender package that you want to upload files into.
From the "Files" tab, click "Upload files" or drag and drop files into the window.
If you clicked "Upload files", drag files into the window or click "From your computer" to select files to upload.
Click "Done". Your files will appear in a folder matching your tender package name. You can see the progress of your upload on the "Files" page. You can also minimize or close the window or navigate away. The upload process will complete in the background.
You can also create folders in your tender package files. Click the "three-dot" icon next to the folder with the tender package name and click "Add subfolder". Name the folder and click the checkmark or press "Enter" on your keyboard.
You can further make adjustments to a subfolder by clicking the "three-dot" icon next to it.
To move, delete or download individual files or folders, click the "three-dot" icon next to that folder or file and select accordingly.
Alternatively, to move, delete or download multiple files or folders, select the files or folders and click "Move" or click the "three-dot" icon to delete or download.
