When inviting subcontractors to projects, if you notice a company is being recommended for work they do not perform, you can “flag and hide” the company so they will not be recommended for that scope of work in the future.
To “flag and hide” companies from appearing in subcontractor recommendations
In your “Invite Bidders” window, click the drop-down arrow to the right of a company's name.
Click “Flag and hide for work performed.” The company will be flagged for the trade(s) that your current recommendation engine is using, the "Work Performed" on the left-hand side. In the following example, HRL Construction will be hidden when I'm searching for "Demolition" moving forward.
The company will no longer appear in searches for the trade they were flagged for. You can hover over the trade to see who flagged it and when. The “Invite” button on your subcontractor search will be greyed out for companies who have been flagged. This is to ensure they are not mistakenly invited to a tender package for a scope of work they do not perform.
Please note that the flag and hide feature is based off of the owning office of the project. This means that if there are two offices in your company and “Office 1” flags a company on a project that “Office 2” owns, that company will only be hidden on projects owned by “Office 2” and will not be hidden from projects owned by “Office 1."
To remove a flag from a company, you can click the "x" next to the trade name or click the drop-down arrow and select "Remove flag for work performed" at any time. This will re-populate the company in searches for that trade.
