How to use the file viewer in Project Files

If you have uploaded files into your project's "Files" tab, you can view the files directly in BuildingConnected. This way you can reference them and efficiently manage your tendering process with subcontractors all in one single location. 

To view a file directly from project "Files"

Navigate to the "Files" tab in your project and click on the file name.



Note: Your account must be connected to Autodesk ID in order to view files directly on BuildingConnected. 

If your account is not connected to an Autodesk ID: 

• Click on "Sign-in with or create Autodesk ID" and follow the prompts to sign-in or create an Autodesk account if you don't yet have one.
• If you choose not to sign in with Autodesk ID, click "Download file instead" as desired. 

Once you are connected to Autodesk ID, you will be able to view your file in detail. There will be a toolbar at the top to zoom, rotate, and more and also view the multiple pages in your file from the left panel as applicable. 



Currently, the supported files types are PDF, JPG, and PNG.
