When a subcontractor submits their tender through BuildingConnected, you can easily view it and download it to your computer or print it for your reference.
To view a submitted tender
The proposal submitted by the subcontractor will appear in the "Proposals section" in the "Subs" tab of your Tender Package where the subcontractor is located.
Click into the subcontractor in the subs list and their proposal will appear on the right-hand side. You can also see in the Tendering Status column the value of their submitted proposal and what date they submitted.
Click on the submitted value under "Proposals".
A pop-up window will appear with their submitted proposal, which includes their responses to your tender form if you have one for the project.
To download or print a submitted tender form
Click on "Print" at the top right of the pop-up window.
The submitted tender form will open in a new tab in your browser with options to download and print, depending on the browser you are using. This is a screenshot from Google Chrome with download and print icons at the top right corner:
To download any attachments submitted by the subcontractor
In the pop-up window with the submitted tender form, click on the attachment name and it will download immediately to your computer.
How to download all submitted tender forms and attachments for all subcontractors
You can quickly download all the documents associated with all of your subcontractors in a specific project.
Navigate to the "Reports" tab in your project and find the "Tender Archive". Click "Download".
This will download a zip file of every tender and attachments submitted by companies in this project to your computer. Depending on the number of subcontractors and documents you have, it may take some time.
When you open the zip file in your computer, you will see folders for each tender package, then a folder for each subcontractor with their submitted tender form and any attachments accordingly.
