BuildingConnected’s Bid Leveling feature makes it easy to confirm that the subcontractors you’ve invited to a project are all pricing the same scopes or services. If a subcontractor excludes pricing or changes need to be made to their submittal values, our Bid Leveling tool allows you to make cost adjustments called “Plugs” to their proposal.
Use plugs to adjust for any line items that the subcontractor might have incorrectly accounted for. The ability to add plugs is enabled by default when you access Bid Leveling. Additionally, plugs are not visible to the subcontractor; they're only visible to your team.
In this article, you can learn how to:
- To add plugs to a proposal
- To remove plugs on a proposal in Bid Leveling
- To clear all plugs, colors, and notes on a proposal
-
To apply previous plugs on a proposal in Bid Leveling
