What does this “Invalid email” alert mean?
If an account is flagged with an “Invalid email” alert, this means that the contact is currently not receiving notifications from BuildingConnected.
There are various reasons why a contact might not be receiving our notifications. For example, contact might be experiencing server issues on their end or the email is valid, but they have a block on emails coming from BuildingConnected. Therefore, we ask that you please contact BuildingConnected Support if you need additional insight and we can help reset or provide additional information on how a contact can prevent their email from appearing as invalid.
Where would I see this "Invalid email" alert?
The “Invalid Email” alert can be seen from the “Bidders” tab of any bid package. You will see a red triangle next to the the subcontractor’s name. Additionally, you will see “Invalid Email” under “Status” in the “Invitees” section on the right.
If you click on the name of the contact, you will also see the “Invalid Email” alert next to the subcontractor’s email address.
How do I remove the "Invalid Email" alert on a contact?
Please contact support with the email address and we can provide insight into why the alert is in place. As a reminder, there are various reasons for why a contact is not receiving emails from BuildingConnected. However, our Support team has resources that can help.
