As a subcontractor, you can add comments to tenders to communicate with coworkers and keep track of important information.
To add comments to tenders
There are two places you can add comments on tenders:
- Your Tenders dashboard
- A tender’s “Overview” page
If you add a comment in any of the above locations, your comment will be reflected across all areas listed above. You can also edit and delete comments as desired.
On your Tenders dashboard
Click into the “Comments” column next to the tender you want to leave a note on. A text box will appear and show any existing comments.
Type and format your comment then press “Enter” on your keyboard to save your comment.
Your most recent comment will now appear in the "Comments" section. The total number of comments are shown in a gray bubble at the top right corner of the field. Click into the "Comments" field to see all the comments.
In a tender's "Overview" tab
Within a tender, navigate to the “Overview” tab.
Click the “Leave a comment for your team” field in the “Activity” section on the right-hand side of the tender's “Overview” tab.
Type and format your comment then press “Enter” on your keyboard to save.
Comments will appear in the order they were added based on the date and time, as listed under the comment.
To edit comments on tenders
Comments can only be edited by the individual who initially added the comment. To edit your comment, hover over a comment then click the “Edit” button.
Make necessary edits to your comment, then press the “Enter” button on your keyboard to save.
To delete comments on tenders
Comments can only be deleted by the individual who initially added the comment. If you would like to delete your own comment, hover over the comment then click the trash icon to the right of your comment.
Please note that deleting comments will not notify your coworkers that it was removed. Deleted comments also cannot be reversed. If you accidentally delete one of your comments, you will need to add a new one.
