If you no longer need your BuildingConnected account, you may be able to take the following instructions to remove yourself from your company's profile. Once your account is removed, you will no longer be able to access BuildingConnected with that email and password.
To delete your account
Click on the building icon on the menu on the left-hand side.
If you have multiple offices, click on the specific office that you are a part of. Your profile photo appears next to the office(s) you are a part of.
In the "Employees" tab of the office, click "Remove" next to your name.
Note:
- If you click "Remove" and receive a message that you "cannot be removed until someone else has been designated as the office lead", reassign someone as the office lead.

- Click "Cancel" to return to the employees list.
- Click the "Lead" checkbox next to another employee.
- Click "Set Office Lead".
- Click "Remove" again.

- If you are the only person in your office, click here to contact support and we will assist with your request.
In the pop-up window that appears, click the "Coworker's Name" field to select from the drop-down menu or enter in a name to select someone to transfer your opportunities and projects to. This ensures that no information in your account is lost and your coworker will have access to what was in your account.
- For opportunities, the coworker will be added as a follower on all opportunities you were a part of. The coworker does not replace you as assignee if you were assigned any opportunities.
- For projects, the coworker will replace you on the project team.
Click "Remove Employee".
Note: If your account is a part of multiple offices, you will to do this to all the offices you are a part of and on the last one, your account is fully removed and you will no longer be able to sign into this BuildingConnected account.
