Why are “work performed” keywords important?

As a subcontractor, you have the ability to select keywords to designate the work you perform. Selecting accurate and specific keywords are important to ensure your company appears in the correct trade when general contractors search for companies in your area.

Please make sure you only select the keywords relevant to your job function. If you do not enter correct keywords, you may receive bid invites for scopes of work you do not perform.

While selecting your work performed keywords, if you do not see keywords that exactly represent the your company’s trade, please select one that matches closest to the work you perform so that you can be found under that trade.
