BuildingConnected offers Autodesk SSO. This service works with your company's single sign on (SSO) application to allow your team to login to BuildingConnected with your company's credentials.
This eliminates the need for your employees to remember another separate password. Also, it allows your IT teams to ensure only the right users can log in.
What are the benefits of Autodesk SSO?
- SSO allows your IT admins to manage BuildingConnected accounts using your company’s corporate identity providers.
- Only an employee with an approved company domain, who also has their email listed within your company’s active directory, can access BuildingConnected.
- If an employee is already logged into their corporate SSO account, they will only need to enter in their email to access BuildingConnected.
How does the login flow change with SSO?
When your company has SSO turned on, your employees will start at the typical login page. They must enter in their corporate email and click "Next".
BuildingConnected will recognize that emails with your company's domain have SSO turned on and direct to the single sign in page. The email must be recognized in your company's directory or they won't be able to click "Log In".
The next screen will be your company's SSO page where they enter in their company credentials. If they are already logged into their credentials in the browser, the last two step will be skipped and they will be taken directly into BuildingConnected. This makes it easy for your team to simply enter their email into the login page and access BuildingConnected right away.
