BuildingConnected gives subcontractors the ability to indicate the type of work that they perform. Scopes are listed as keywords in the office's profile and make companies visible to clients in your area who are searching for bidders who perform that work. Continue reading to learn how you can view all the scopes that are offered in BuildingConnected.
To view all available scopes of work
Click the building icon on the menu on the left-hand side.
You will see different views depending on whether you have one or multiple office locations in your company profile:
- If you only have one office
- You will see a list of the employees in your company. Click on the “Company Profile" tab.
- Click on "Edit Work Information"
- If you have multiple offices
- Click into the office where you want to add a coworker.
- Click on the "Office Information" tab.
Click on "Edit Work Information". You must be a part of this office to be able to click on this button.
- Click into the office where you want to add a coworker.
Once you have clicked "Edit Work Information", click into the "Work Performed" field. Click "View all" in the drop-down menu to see all the available keywords.
A window will appear with a list of all the scopes that are available in BuildingConnected. If you have keywords already added to your profile, those keywords will appear at the top of the window. For your ease, keywords are organized by division. Click into the Filter box at the top to search for specific scopes.
