As a main contractor with BC Pro, you can create tender forms that specifically meet your project’s needs. This capability saves you time by allowing you to store the tender forms that you create so that you can easily use them for future projects.
Project tender forms are visible to all subcontractors who are invited to tender regardless of tradee. These tender forms are organized into six different sections under which relevant questions can be added when you create your tender form in BuildingConnected. This article explains the different categories that are available in project tender forms so that you can accurately organize your tender form questions.

To access project tender forms
Start by navigating to the desired project. From there, click on the “Tender Forms” tab.
You will be directed to an empty project tender form.

General Acknowledgements
This section allows main contractors to ask questions or clarifications that are required from all potential business partners.
For example, this section is an appropriate place to confirm with subcontractors that they have read and agreed to the associated tender documents that were provided for the project.
Bond information
Use this section to ask questions in relation to bonding for potential business partners.
Fees and markups
Use this category to get breakout information for a subcontractor’s personal costs.
Labor rates
Under labor rates you can request breakouts for hourly, daily, and weekly rates for labor associated with this tender.
For example, this section is the appropriate place to ask for hourly labor costs for the project foreman and for the project manager.
Certifications
This section is used to allow subcontractors to clarify their business certifications.
Disclaimers and clarifications
Use this section to include your company’s standard disclaimers and clarifications that the subcontractor will need to review for this tender.
While individual questions can be added under each section, it is not possible to add additional sections to project tender forms.
