How to publish a tender package

Within a project on BuildingConnected, you can publish tender packages one at a time before or after adding subcontractors to them. Tender packages are categories within a project in which subcontractors are invited to tender under one scope of work. Once subcontractors are added to a tender package, they will receive an email notification when the tender package is published.

Please note that if the same subcontractor is added to multiple tender packages, we recommend publishing all tender packages at once as a best practice. This is to ensure the subcontractor only receives one tender invite notification email detailing all tender packages they were invited to versus multiple notification emails when tender packages are published separately.

To publish an individual tender package

There are two ways you can publish an individual tender package:

• From the Tender Packages tab
• Within a Tender Package

From the Tender Packages Tab

Select the tender package you would like to publish and click "Publish". 



Click “Publish”.



Within a Tender Package

Click into the tender package and click "Publish" at the top-right. 



Click "Publish Tender Package".
