With the BC Pro integration to Cost Management in Autodesk Build, you can connect subcontractors you are ready to award from BuildingConnected to a contract in Cost Management. You can accelerate the contracting cycle and quickly transition to your takeoff and estimating workflows.
To use the BC Pro and Cost Management Integration:
- Your BuildingConnected account must be connected to Autodesk ID.
- The BC project must be connected to an ACC Project.
- You have a subscription for Autodesk Build with Cost Management activated on the ACC project.
- You have full control or above permission level for Contracts in Cost Management.
Create cost contracts in BuildingConnected
When you ready to award a company, there are two ways you can create a contract in Cost Management within a bid package.
In the Bidders tab
Click on the company and in the "Proposals" section, under the details of their most recent proposal, click "Create Contract".
In the Bid Leveling tab
Click the arrow next to the company you want to award and select "Create Contract" in the drop-down menu.
Enter a contract code and edit the contract name as desired. Fill in the other optional fields.
Click "Create Contract".
You will see a pop up message that your contract has been created. Any attachments may take several minutes to upload.
View cost contracts in BuildingConnected
Once you have created a contract, you can jump to view it in ACC in the Bidders and Bid Leveling tab. The contract in Cost Management will open in a new browser window.
In the Bidders tab
Click on the company and in the "Proposals" section, under the details of their most recent proposal, click "View Contract".
In the Bid Leveling tab
Click the arrow next to the company you want to award and select "View Contract" in the drop-down menu.
