You can set up custom email templates in TradeTapp to efficiently send your vendors messages regarding their applications. This allows you to quickly message your vendors with your company's specific requirements and can help to centralize all of your information into one single location, without needing to reference it outside of TradeTapp.
Please note that you must have Admin rights to access the email templates. Please reference, "Permission Levels in TradeTapp (General Contractors)". If you need Admin rights, please contact your internal TradeTapp admin.
To create a email template in TradeTapp
Click on your company's name at the top right and click on "Settings".
Navigate to the "Email Templates" tab from the top menu bar. If you are not seeing the Email Templates section, you do not have Admin permissions. Please follow up with your internal Admin team members as needed to grant you permissions in order to create or edit email templates.
Click "Create New Template".
Enter in a name for the email template at the top and the message body as desired. Click "Save".
All of the email templates you create will be listed here. If you want to delete or edit an email template, there are corresponding buttons to do so under each template.
How to use email templates in TradeTapp
You can choose to use an email template when sending an invite to qualify, renewal request, corrections request, or a change in questionnaire type. When you initiate any of these actions, there will be an option to "Choose Message Template" with a drop-down menu. All of your email templates from your settings will be available here. Select the email template you would like to use.
Your message will populate into the text box below. You can always edit the template for a specific email as needed. Click "Send" to send your request and custom message to the vendor.
Your message will appear as a note from you on the email notification that is sent out.
