In TradeTapp, you can add flags to note important events that may affect the qualification status of a subcontractor. You can also create alerts for these flags to ensure that your team is always updated on the vendor.
In this article, you will learn how to:
- To add a flag
- To resolve, edit, and delete flags
- To reopen flags
- To view which vendors have flags
- To track flag activity
To add a flag
In a vendor's profile, click "Add Flag".
In the Add Flag window, set the details for the flag:
- Name of flag: This will be the flag title that shows to other users
- Type: Select from the options in the drop-down menu
- Priority: High, Medium, or Low
- Event date: Describes the date the incident happened
- Summary: Describe the incident itself like what happened, who is dealing with it, and what are the steps to resolution
- Alert on profile: Selecting this option will trigger an in-app notification every time a user enters the profile. This can help raise awareness of a serious issue with the vendor. The notification can be dismissed by clicking the "X" or clicking "View Flags" to take further action.
The number of active flags will be shown on the vendor's profile. The flag icons indicate the number of flags in each priority - high (red), medium (orange), and low (yellow).
Click on the Flags section to view all the flags or add additional flags.
To add additional flags, click "Add Flag".
Any flags with alerts turned on the profile will have a red warning icon next to the title.
To resolve, edit, and delete flags
In the vendor's profile, click on the Flags section.
For the relevant flag, use the icons on the right corner.
- Resolve: Resolve the flag when you no longer need to alert your teammates or have it visible. You will be asked to provide a summary of the resolution. You can always reopen flags anytime.
- Edit: Edit the flag details
- Delete : Delete the flag. This action cannot be undone.
Resolved flags will appear in the "Resolved Flags" tab. The resolution summary is shown for each resolved flag.
To reopen flags
In the vendor's profile, click on the Flags section.
In the "Resolved Flags" tab, find the flag you want to reopen.
Click the more menu in the corner of the flag and click "Reopen".
Enter in notes for why the flag is being reopened and click "Save".
Reopened flags will become active again and move to the "Active Flags" tab. The re-open summary you entered will be shown.
