How to accept or reject a project approval

If you are assigned as a accepter on a project approval, you will receive an email notification letting you know that an approval is awaiting your acceptance. In the project approval, you can review the project details and the risk assessment that TradeTapp generates for this vendor based on their company qualification and the project being evaluated. 

To accept or reject a project approval

Click on the “Approvals” page. 



Click on the company name for the relevant project approval. Any open approvals assigned to you will appear at the top of the list for quick access. 



You will be directed to the vendor's profile and their list of Approvals. Click on the relevant project. 



Use the left navigation to see project details, the risk assessment, and provide your final review. 



Based on the project details entered and the vendor's qualification information, TradeTapp performs a risk assessment with the company's risks and strengths, mitigation recommendations, and key metrics. 

Note: In the Settings, you can choose whether to show Internal Single and Total Limit and Single Project Capacity & Aggregate Total Capacity in project approvals.

When ready, in the Reviews & Acceptance section, click "Start My Acceptance". 



Under Reviews, you can see all the reviewers and the outcome they chose. Click on a reviewer's name to see any comments they made or if an RMP was selected, you can see the items they want to include in a risk mitigation plan for this vendor. 

The Merged Result will show the most conservative outcome if there are multiple reviewers. For example, if one reviewer approves and another rejects, then the merged result would be "Reject". You can choose to keep this or click "Override" to select the outcome that you want. 

If you agree with the merged result, click "Accept Merged Result" or if you changed the result, click "Accept Override Result" accordingly. 



The project approval is now complete and its status will be reflect the outcome chosen - Pending, Approve, Approve w/RMP, or Reject.

Note: You can always return to a project approval and the Reviews & Acceptance section to change your acceptance. Click "Edit Acceptance" next to your name.
