Note: Only users with Financial, Reviewer, and Accepter permissions have the ability to assign a project approval request.
Once a project approval request is made, you can assign coworkers to review and approve the request. Reviewers can view the project details and the risk assessment TradeTapp generates based on their qualification and the project. Once the reviewers set an outcome, the accepters will provide the final approval or rejection.
Tip: You can create rules to automatically add reviewers and accepters based on certain criteria. Learn more in How to create default and custom project approval rules (General contractors).
To manually assign reviewers and accepters on a TradeTapp project approval request
Click on the “Approvals” page.
Click on the relevant project approval.
You will be directed to the vendor's profile and their list of Approvals. Click on the relevant project.
Click “View.”
Click “Edit.”
Click the drop-down next to “Review By” and “Accept By.” Select the coworkers you would like to assign as reviewers and accepters. Only users with Reviewer or Accepter permissions will appear as an option for “Review By,” and only users with Accepter permissions will appear as an option for “Accept By.”
Tip: You can select multiple users as reviewers and accepters.
Click “Save”.
The assigned reviewers and accepters will receive an email notification letting them know this project approval requires their review and/or approval. The status for this project approval request will update to “Pending Reviews.”
