How to see what projects vendors are bidding on in TradeTapp

As a general contractor using TradeTapp and BuildingConnected, in TradeTapp, you can see what BuildingConnected projects vendors have been invited to bid on. This can give your team a wider view of how committed a vendor is to existing projects and new work they are bidding on.

Note: This information is view-only in TradeTapp. Any necessary changes to bidding information must be performed in BuildingConnected. 

To see which vendors are bidding on a project

On your Invitations dashboard, click "Projects in Bidding" to open a selection menu. 



Search for a project by name or scroll to find the desired project and select it.



Click "Apply Filter". The list of vendors on the right will filter to only show those who are bidding on the selected project(s). 

Note: You can always apply additional filters to narrow your view further. Learn more in How to filter your TradeTapp “Invitations” dashboard and save views (General contractors).



 

To see which projects a vendor is bidding on

Note: On the "Invitations" dashboard, you must have the column "Projects in Bidding" to see the list of projects that vendor . See How to customize the columns on your TradeTapp “Invitations” dashboard (General contractors) for instructions on how to add the column to your dashboard. 

On the "Invitations" dashboard, find the "Projects in Bidding" column and hover over to see a list of all the projects the vendor has been invited to bid on. 



Click on a project and the Invitations dashboard will change to show only the vendors that are bidding on that project.
